The antibodies were discovered inside a 60-year-old African-American male, known as "Donor 45," according to the Journal. The research was published today in the journal Science. The news comes a year after an experimental vaccine, administered to 16,000 volunteers by the Thailand Ministry of Public Health, showed a reduction in HIV risk by 31 percent. |
